"Command Key" for "Alt Gr" in Apple keyboard

Bug Description

The "Command Key" as they like to call it now on the macs is not activated by ubuntu (or any linux flavour) by default, when, in my humble opinion, should be interpreted/mapped as an "Alt Gr". This way users could use the full potential of their keyboards by default; for example in the European version of the keyboard the "Euro" key can be accessed only when "Alt Gr" is activated.

I hope this helps!

I will try to find out how to implement a solution on this, even though I am not a programmer, I think I can find out how to fix it!
I will keep this updated.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This particular bug has already been reported and is a duplicate of bug 261573, so it is being marked as such. Please look at the other bug report to see if there is any missing information that you can provide, or to see if there is a workaround for the bug. Additionally, any further discussion regarding the bug should occur in the other report. Feel free to continue to report any other bugs you may find.

It's a newer bug, but it has more information, so I'm making it the master bug.

The Command key is interpreted as the "Super" Key. (This is equivalent to the Windows Key on Windows Keyboards). This can be tested. CMD+TAB will activate the animated app switching behavior if compiz in enabled which is the same as WIN+TAB on other keyboards.

However, since there are two Command Keys on Apple Keyboards, it would probably make sense to make the right command key the same as the ALT-GR is it is required.

Furthermore, I really don't think this is a duplicate of the other bug. That bug deals with a lapping error in a specific language layout where two keys are swapped.

"lapping" should be "layout" I have no idea how I typed that.
