Thank you for your bug report. nautilus-share is installed for easy smb sharing but samba is not installed that's why you get those error in the log, what issue do you have exactly? do you consider the error printed as the bug?

Changed in nautilus:
importance: Undecided → Low
status: New → Incomplete

nautilus-share only suggest samba. What the purpose of nautilus-share if samba is not installed ?
the desciption is «Nautilus extension to share folder using Samba»

Since I don't see the link to the duplicate bug anywhere I'm going to post the simple fix here which happens to be: sudo aptitude remove nautilus-share. The fact also remains that this should have been fixed long ago and not flagged as low-priority because it only takes a quick fix to the meta-package that installs it as well as flagging it as a strict dependency of samba so that if samba is installed by default and uninstalled it is removed along with samba.

Thank you for your concern. The duplicate bug link is at the top of the
bug page, and is also quoted at the top of this post.

As for the bug that this is a duplicate of, it's marked as fix released.
Please post any issues and reopen the bug if you still see the same
issue in the latest version of nautilus-share, which is 0.7.2-6.
