Bug Description
Binary package hint: zaptel
I haven't investigated further, It was simply reported during the Adept update to 8.04 process that there was a problem with zaptel. I have a zaptel TDM400 clone (lspci calls it 'Communication controller: Tiger Jet Network Inc. Tiger3XX Modem/ISDN interface'). I'll add more to this after I reboot and check if its working ok.

Title: package zaptel 1:1.4.10~dfsg-1 failed to install/upgrade:
Uname: Linux 2.6.22-14-generic i686
OK, I rebuilt from my zaptel-1.4.9.2 source using
configure
make clean
make
sudo make install
sudo make configure
and now everything works perfectly. 2.6.24- 16-generic/ kernel/ drivers/ net, did a depmod -a and now evreything works again.
I had some problems with my network drivers.
I have a realtek r8168, which is still being recognised as an r8169. So I blocklisted r8169, got rid of r8169.ko from my /lib/modules/
