Bug Description

The cover hasn't been scanned for most IA books (and they are generally not interesting anyway), but we could pull an image of the title page and use that instead. Titles pages are indicated in scandata.

I second this feature request. Most boosk where owner-bound until the early 20th century, so covers are item-specific. For bibliographic descriptions, the title page is far more interesting.

Edward - can you pls make sure your import handler for books from IA also includes some code to choose and store the title page as a cover?

I have code going through the existing books adding title pages as cover images. I plan to add this to the process that is adding new scanned books. I don't anticipate any difficulties.

I've fixed this. Now when a new scan of a book is loaded into Open Library the title page or cover image is loaded into coverstore.
