Bug Description

Binary package hint: pq

When pq is started the mystic window appears. With Ubuntu's default window manager it is embedded into center of desktop, but e.g. xmonad allows that window to be active. Maybe this has something to do with the fact that system tray icon never appears into notification area? xwininfo gives the following information for the mystic window...

xwininfo: Window id: 0x4400005 "Progress Quest"

  Absolute upper-left X: 640
  Absolute upper-left Y: 512
  Relative upper-left X: 640
  Relative upper-left Y: 512
  Width: 1
  Height: 1
  Depth: 24
  Visual Class: TrueColor
  Border width: 1
  Class: InputOutput
  Colormap: 0x2200001 (not installed)
  Bit Gravity State: NorthWestGravity
  Window Gravity State: NorthWestGravity
  Backing Store State: NotUseful
  Save Under State: no
  Map State: IsViewable
  Override Redirect State: no
  Corners: +640+512 -637+512 -637-509 +640-509

If you close that window the main window will also get closed.

I subscribed wine team. Maybe some other piece of Windows software has the same problem. They might also know how the system tray icons are supposed to work.

Can't reproduce the bug right now. If you manage to do that, please run wnckprop (from package libwnck-dev) on the window and post the output here.
