Bug Description

Binary package hint: brasero

When attempting to burn a 4GB file onto a DVD, Braserro started the burning process before giving an error which wasn't very helpful. Instead, for the novice and the elderly, I was thinking of something friendly like: "Sorry, DVD's cannot accept files over _____MB" (what is it, 2GB - 1 byte). Brasero should not attempt to burn the DVD and then come up with an error/log. Use the same approach as used when warning a user that they about to overburn and that they should delete a file.

This is false, this bug report is not a duplicate of bug #219511.

219511 - Deals with MD5 Sum of files or CD before it is burnt.

224815 - Deals with warning a user that it cannot handle files over 2GB
