MuVo T200 is not detected as MTP in Rhythmbox

Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

1) Hardy 8.04
2) Rhythmbox 0.11.5
3) To insert MuVo T200 ito the USB port and have it detected by Rhythmbox for syncing,
4) instead the stick is detected as a USB drive, but no activity on RB end. both ipod and mtp are enabled. trying cross enabling/disabling as well.

i see. when i saw that the system picke dup the stick, but rhythmbox did not i assumed it was the latter.

do i have to re-categorize this bug? remove it?

The attached lshal.txt does not have any music player that I can see. When you generated it, are you sure that you had the music player plugged in? If not, please do and do "lshal > /tmp/lshal.txt" and attach /tmp/lshal.txt here.

yes, the player was plugged in at the time of the original lshal generation. i have upgraded to 8.10 couple of days ago, and now it seems to be able to detect the player by the name, but it still does not appear in Rhythmbox as an MTPplayer (plugin is enabled)

Doesn't look like an mtp device, but a standard usb mass storage.
