Firefox 3.0 fonts not rendering

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

I just installed Ubuntu 8.04 and I decided to set up a guest account so my family members could use it. However, when I opened Firefox, I found that no text at all was shown on your start page (see attachment).

I am using the package version: 3.0~b5+nobinonly-0ubuntu3

I confirm bug. I have some picture at new user. However, there is no such bug with settings from my old working profile.

 Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
