Bug Description

I have a 2 GB USB flash stick. It is automounted and shows up on my desktop normally. If the device is mounted and attached to the system when I hibernate (to disk) upon resume I have 2 icons for 2.0 GB Media. One does not actually link to the USB flash stick (no files show up when I browse it). The other one does link to the flash stick (files show up when I browse it).

The original and not linked to the flash stick mount point is /media/disk the one that works after resume is mounted at /media/disk-1 . I can not unmount the icon that links to /media/disk by a right click. I can unmount the icon that links to /media/disk-1 .

This is mainly a minor annoyance as it only results in an extra icon (and some confusion as to which icon to click on), however, if I had multiple USB devices it would be much more annoying.

What I would expect to happen is that /meida/disk would be unmounted on hibernate and the icon removed from the desktop. Then upon resume it would be remounted and its icon added back to the desktop. That way there is only one icon.

This is reproducible every time I resume from hibernation (to disk). I do not know if it happens with suspend (to ram).

Let me know if there is any other information that I could provide.
