Bug Description

The internal wireless card is not recognized during the ordinary boot. However,
if ACPI is disabled, then the wireless card is recognized. (Note: after
disabling ACPI during boot, it maybe necessary to then execute "modprobe
ipw2200" to see the card.)

Surely you don't really mean the 5.04 preview, but the 5.10 preview?

Please send "lspci", "lspci -n" and "dmesg" output.

I reinstalled everything, and now the card is recognized automatically as long
as ACPI is disabled as a boot parameter. If ACPI is enabled, the wireless is not
recognized.

If possible, please upgrade to Dapper's 2.6.15-7 kernel. If you do not want to
upgrade to Dapper, then you can also wait for the Dapper Flight 2 CD's, which
are due out within the next few days.

Let me know if this bug still exists with this kernel.
