Bug Description

I dist-upgraded to breezy today, 23.Sept 2005

Gnome-calendar (at least the tray-applett) shows the week starting on sunday as
default in the norwegian locales nn_NO, nb_NO and no_NO.

FIX: Edit the nb_NO, nn_NO and no_NO to inclde the statements

first_weekday 2
first_workday 2

just after the LC_TIME-flag in the locales. Then run

locale-gen and reboot.

hhg@evo:/usr/share/i18n/locales$ egrep -B2 -A2 -n week no_NO
2154-
2155-LC_TIME
2156:first_weekday 2
2157-first_workday 2
2158-abday "<U0073><U00F8><U006E>";"<U006D><U0061><U006E>";/
hhg@evo:/usr/share/i18n/locales$

Can this please be fixed before the final version comes out?

I've retitled this bug to be specific to the Norway date issues. Please file separate bugs for different countries.

that said, we've recently updated the locales packages. Can you tell me if this problem still occurs with current dapper?

This bug (or missing feature) is still present in Intrepid.
Gnome editor doesn't seem to have a setting for it either.

The "temporary fix" referenced above doesn't work and causes issues.
