Bug Description

Binary package hint: dasher

After upgrading to Hardy, hitting F1 in Dasher has no effect. The help browser doesn't open.

I was looking for a way to have Dasher output redirected to another window, as was possible in previous versions. I can't find any way to do that with the version included in Hardy (4.6.4).

I have checked - when I search the system help, I find Dasher's manual installed. The manual mentions the "Options" menu I recalled, with the option "Send text to another window", which is not present in Ubuntu's version.

Newer dasher has had to use gtk_show_uri to display help now, thanks to changes in "new" gtk, so this is all sorted with a newer version of dasher (so I think eg lucid is OK).
