Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg

I am not sure if this is a bug, but I can reproduce it here.
I am using Hardy, firefox 3 beta 5
my xserver crashes and sends me back to the login screen, when I browse some particular websites
Right now, i can reproduce the problem for the website
http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu:Gutsy

this was found in dmesg after the crash
[ 1418.810302] CPU0 attaching NULL sched-domain.
[ 1418.810305] CPU1 attaching NULL sched-domain.
[ 1418.829921] CPU0 attaching sched-domain:

[ 1418.829928] CPU1 attaching sched-domain:
[ 1418.829929] domain 0: span 03

[ 1501.009313] Xorg[9658]: segfault at 3e710c08 eip b6f9eba0 esp bfc103f0 error 4
[ 1502.612580] firefox-bin[10365]: segfault at aec3b03c eip b7ef1ab7 esp b0d0a2b0 error 6

I have noticed the firefox-bin line is not always listed. So i am not sure if this is xorg related or something to do with the beta version of firefox. I was also able to reproduce the problem with firefox running in safe mode.

This is Dell XPS 1530 with nvidia 8600 (restricted drivers in use) . Thinkfinger installed for fingerprint identification. Using a custom theme. Let me know if you need anything else.

I am able to reproduce this as well. This is on a Dell XPS M1330 with nvidia GeForce 8400M GS. I am using the nvidia-glx-new drivers and I have compiz disabled.
