Bug Description
Upgraded to Ubuntu 8.04 and firefox 3.
Delicious plugin (1.5.44) doesn't work anymore.
Rational for posting here:
Ubuntu can claim that this is outside their remit, but really any major plugin to any of their apps used by lots of their users deserves to be catered for. This is a high usability priority for me (obviously not as high as security concerns).
I would personally rather stick with firefox 2 on the latest ubuntu than going up to 3 and losing this feature.
I would vote that firefox becomes an application managed by galternatives, so it gives the users the power to decide which version they want to use.
(I think really that apt needs to change so that EVERY package version can be installed side by side but that's another discussion).

Okay, didn't realize that firefox-2 is available for download (specifically because it wasn't visible in the galternatives screen).
sudo apt-get install firefox-2 firefox- 2-gnome- support
although you'll manually have to redirect /usr/bin/firefox
