Moodin screens are chopped off on the right side

I'm using kubuntu 8.04 with kde 3.5.9

Two moodin screens are not displayed properly after upgrading from kubuntu 7.10 to 8.04 and doing a clean install to 8.04.

1. fingerprint moodin splash screen is chopped off on the right side of the page when testing the splash screen
2. moodinkde moodin splash screen is chopped off on the right side of the page when testing the splash screen
3. daryna moodin splash screen that I copied from linux mint does work properly after upgrading from 7.10 to 8.04 or doing a clean install to 8.04.

This is a daryna moodin splash copied from linux mint that works with kubuntu 8.04 with kde 3.5.9

I almost forgot. The kubuntu moodin splash screen is displayed properly also.

I can confirm this. It happens here too (Kubuntu 8.04 with KDE 3.5.9). Looks like the screen is scaled for normal screen even on my widescreen.

Fingerprint is 1280x1024

MoodinKDE is 1280x1024

Daryna is 1024x768

Kubuntu is 1920x1440

The two that do not work have the same resolution.
I wonder if I resized "fingerprint" and "moodinkde" to 1024x768 would that work? I went back to 7.10. I might try 8.10 when it arrives.

This package will be removed in intrepid because it will be superceded by ksplashx in kdebase-workspace-bin for KDE4. Please retest in intrepid, and re-open if it also occurs there.
