Bug Description

I just created a Malone developers team at /people/name80/+newteam. I entered "Malone developers" as the team name and the email address was <email address hidden>.

I expected to end up with a team homepage of /people/malone-developers, when in fact I ended up the /people/brad-bollenbach. The team name should be created from the team name, not from the email address.

Changed in foaf:
status: New → Fixed
Changed in launchpad:
assignee: nobody → salgado

This is the way we create the nickname for a new person, and I was using this to create the nicknames for new teams too.

Now, when you create a new team, you can specify the nickname you want, but it must be a valid nickname and must not be in the database yet. Perhaps, the nickname is a readonly attribute, and once you set it you cannot change. I think this is good because we use the nickname on URLs.

What do you think? This is what you expected?
