Bug Description

This problem is with 8.04LTS.

There are two problems with the method of accepting any key at the end of the 'Check CD for Defects' process.

1. If the user hits a key at all during the CD check, the test will not even wait at the end and the results can't be seen.
2. The CD check can take a while and if the user walks away the screen will go blank. To wake up the screen the user must push a key.; Again the user does not get a chance to read the results of the CD Check. This is most likely after the check has completed so fixing issue 1 by flushing the input buffer at the end of the check will not solve issue 2.

Thanks.

usplash is actually not the good package name. I change it to casper, but it might still not be the good one. I think that you should search the good package name in order to help that bug report, thanks!

Saïvann, I changed this package's bug to usplash earlier because I believe that *is* the proper place. If you disagree, please provide source code references.

The usplash package has been superseded by plymouth and has been removed from the Ubuntu archive. Closing all related bugs.
