Bug Description

1)
Description: Ubuntu 7.10
Release: 7.10

2)
Package: libexif12
Version: 0.6.16 - 1

3)
I have tried to open a JPEG from an Olympus E-10 with Gimp-2.4.2

4)
/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/jpeg:
fatal error: Segmentation fault

I have asked on the gimp-mailing-list before:
http://lists.xcf.berkeley.edu/lists/gimp-user/2008-April/012364.html
Answer was:
"The crash happens inside libexif. Please report this to the libexif developers."

The example image link is no longer valid, but I can't reproduce this problem on another Olympus E-10 image on Ubuntu 8.10 using gimp 2.6.1 and libexif 0.6.16-2.1ubuntu1 (or libexif 0.6.19 compiled from source).
