Ubuntu 8.04 gnome-keyring-daemon closed unexpectedly

Bug Description

I installed Ubuntu 8.04 on a 8GB Thumb Drive. It boots ok the first time, however, I get a message gnome-keyring-daemon closed unexpectedly. This application crashed. However, if I were to shutdown and try to start again, I can login, however the booting never completes, and the screen stays blank and I do not get any menus.
