Bug Description

Binary package hint: brasero

Using a fresh install of Ubuntu Hardy 8.04, with Brasero 0.7.1-3ubuntu1

When adding FLAC files to burn to an audio CD in Brasero by dragging the whole folder across and hitting the 'Search Directory' button in the dialog that appears, the audio tracks are added in some sort of a random order (maybe the order they appear on the disc?).

I would expect the files to be added in alphabetical order so that you can add files from the same CD properly. E.g:
01 - Some track.flac
02 - Another track.flac

Attached screenshot of resulting problem.

Thanks for your report, I've tested it with some ogg files i have and it works fine, can you test with another type of files? thanks.

I've tried it with some ogg files and the same result.

Interestingly, if I add the files individually, the tags get read properly on them straight away. If I remove all the files from the project and then add the directory in one hit, it all works as expected. In order to get it to work like this, I have to shut down Brasero and then re-open it in order to make sure that it hasn't missed any file tags in its cache.

I have the same problem with mp3s. This only occurs when I add the folder containing them... As you can see from the attached screenshot, It really mixes up the order...
