weird character encoding on about and error pages

Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

On the about:plugins and any error pages (eg site not find or the new SSL pages) I get weird characters. If I remove the style "view->page style->no style" the problem goes away, but of course the page isn't nicely rendered anymore.

I have tried changing the character encoding "view->character encoding" but no luck.

This is a fresh install of hardy, from the RC. (totally up to date now)

Installed Firefox 2 days ago. Pages are filled with weird characters making them ureadable. I've tried different uni-codes, nothing helps.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

This is resolved for me know, by changing fonts. I think by changing the default font, that fixed the problem for me.
