Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

1) App: Pidgin 2.2.1

2) OS: Ubuntu 7.10

3+4) When attempting to remove an "Empty" Buddy List group on AIM, it does not remove it what-so-ever. AND well, my list is fairly large being that I use Pidgin for 3 to 4 different messenger services at once. I will attempt upgrading though in hopes that this bug has been fixed in the 2.4.* version AND I do not lose those log files.

Can you provide an exact description of how to reproduce this bug, and whether it is AIM only, or occurs with other types of account?
