kdesu hogs cpu

using hardy beta

kdesu runs at powerup. not sure why but it does and I have to ksysguard to kill it because it takes 95% of my cpu.

also does the same thing when run from the console. here is a transcript. I again had to kill it from ksysguard.

I noticed that running kdesudo works just fine, until you run kdesud. After this kdesudo hangs just like kdesu.
If you kill kdesud, kdesudo starts working again. kdesu still keeps hanging.

Actually, it depends if one gives some parameters to kdesu or kdesudo.
Running just kdesu hangs, but e.g. running "kdesu ls" works.

kdesu is no longer directly accessible in Kubuntu Intrepid/KDE 4.

Actually I think installing kdesudo would override kdesu in any case. Please check that usr/bin/kdesu is a symlink to /usr/bin/kdesudo, if not make it one.

That should fix this issue.
