Bug Description

Binary package hint: etherape

I opened Etherape, as root, to see whats going on on my network. When I hit the X to close it, there is enough time for the little notification about force quit and wait to come up. This is a bit of a pain, not too big. This only occurs when Etherape sees things on the network; for me about 20 different things. I am on wireless if that makes a difference. I am not sure if malicious code could be inserted during this time. I think this because it is running as root, and over a network. I'm marking this as a security vulnerability, just to be safe.

Thanks for the report! Unless there is some other source of vulnerability, nothing about the time the GUI is stalled should inherently make an application vulnerable. I'm unmarking this as a security update.
