Bug Description
Binary package hint: xorg
8.04RC install on Dell Latitude D600 leaves a non-working /etc/X11/xorg.conf. Fresh install of 7.10 generates a good /etc/X11/xorg.conf.
I was goaded into a 8.04RC install because of a non-functional cursor on an up to date 7.10. Re-installing 7.10 resolved the cursor/

I see this bug report is being associated with a trouble-free version of xorg. The bugs exist in the fully updated 7.10 xorg and the version for 8.04RC.
