Bug Description

Kubuntu 8.04 kde4 release candidate (this did not happen with beta!).

Booting the laptop in installation mode, the installation itself works fine. Suddenly, after hardware detection ubiquity ends and the kde4 desktop is launched. When rebooting the system, grub gives an error.
I tried a new installation. Same result.
Inspecting the log in /var/log there is an exception during the call of grub configuration. "grub - no such module".
Sorry i cannot provide the log yet, because there is not network connection or usb stick. I'll try something else to get the log file.

Finally I managed to tear the debug file off the notebook.

Using the bootloader option for block device (/dev/sda) the installation finishes correctly. The default hd0 leads to the crash. I tried it with hardy version of ubuntu, kubuntu and kubuntu-kde4.
