Bug Description
Binary package hint: pida
Some dependencies need helping I guess:
ii emacs22-gtk 22.1-0ubuntu10 The GNU Emacs editor (with GTK+ 2.x support)
ii pida 0.5.1-2 Python Integrated Development Application, a
Now, when I start pida and select emacs as editor, pida just hangs there, while emacs complains about an --parent-id option. Which makes me wonder what versions of emacs support that option.
Anyway, it's either an upstream bug (if pida detects wrongly emacs as Ok) and/or a packaging bug, e.g. dependencies in the package.
