Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xgl

I have just updated to hardy and when I open a video with any video player, xgl consumes a lot of cpu: the bigger is the movie-window, the higher is the CPU consuming by XGL.
Using Compiz, with an ATI card with restricted drivers.
I never had such a problem on Gusty.

The problem came from that fglrxinfo told me that I had "Mesa" instead of "ATI".
I solved the problem by disable AIGLX just creating a file with the name "disable" in the folder ".config/xserver-xgl" in your home directory.

I had no more problem now.

Changed in xserver-xgl:
status: New → Invalid
