Bug Description
OpenJDK doesn't work as good as Sun Java JRE. For example, I can't play chess on Yahoo Games with OpenJDK and the Icedtea plugin.
I had to completely remove OpenJDK (and Icedtea plugin) and install Sun Java JRE and plugin. Now everything works fine again.
Please put Sun Java JRE again in ubuntu-
Greetz, Pjotr.

I agree. OpenJDK isn't ready from prime time - at least on the two mission critical applications and applets I've tried (which are unfortunately proprietary or I would include links and test procedures). Unfortunately, even Sun's JRE isn't a great solution on AMD64 - as there is no applet support. Long story short - Java continues to disappoint on all fronts and I wish I wasn't dependent on it in any form!
