Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase

While previews are enabled in settings, no previews are shown in Konqueror if system:/ or media:/ protocols are used.
Konqueror 3.5.9
Both 7.10 and 8.04 (upgraded from 7.10) have this problem.
Suse doesn't.

Thank you for filing this bug.
Go to Setttings > Configure Konqueror > Previews & Meta-Data and check if media and system protocols are checked off.
On my system they are not checked off, yet previews DO work.

Thank you. It did the trick. Although that is an inconsistent behavior. I guess this bug can be closed.

Keeping this open in kdebase because the setting seems to be inconsistent (I have previews despite the boxes being unchecked).
