Keyboard settings change on reboot

Bug Description

I have set the Gnome config keyboard selection to Swedish and in and System preferences i also have set keyboard to Swedish. Althoug as soon as doing reboot its defaults to US keyboard. and its not enough to just choose swedish keyboard in the preferences i have to remove/add swedsih keyboard again ... KB is wireless Logitech

Forgot to say running 8.04 with all latest updates until today.

I can confirm this. I have the same problem. However I have deleted everything except the Irish keyboard locale and I still get U.S. keyboard behaviour after a reboot.
