Bug Description
When working on a dimed display, let's say 50% - when being inactive, the display reduces to let's say 30% , as soon I start any activity, it returns to 80% - (instead of 50%)
happens on both power & battery.

Could you please attach the resulting log file of: gnome-power- bugreport. sh &> gpm.log to the report? You might also want to take a look to the Debugging instructions located at https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/DebuggingGN OMEPowerManager for submit any other logs related to your problem.
Furthermore, it seems that you were using a Beta version of Hardy. Is this still an issue with Hardy Final ?
