Bug Description

In the recent archive rebuild test, some packages failed to build because libaa1-dev was uninstallable:

Setting up libaa1-dev (1.4p5-33) ...
install-info(/usr/share/info/aalib.info): warning, ignoring confusing INFO-DIR-ENTRY in file.

No `START-INFO-DIR-ENTRY' and no `This file documents'.
install-info(/usr/share/info/aalib.info): unable to determine description for `dir' entry - giving up
dpkg: error processing libaa1-dev (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

This is causing (at least) gst-plugins-good0.10 to fail to build from source, as can be seen at:

This has a very simple fix, and only requires a slight change in direntry to produce an installinfo-readable .info-file.

Unfortunately the package does not use a patch system or CDBS, so I'm just attaching the patch without debdiff.

Hi,

Thanks for the patch. I have turned it in to a debdiff so that it
can be uploaded. Unfortunately I can't reproduce the issue,
so I am unable to test it. I am looking for anyone that
can reproduce at the moment.

Thanks,

James

Hi,

The bug was explained to me, the file is changed by rebuilding it,
so I have been able to reproduce now. Attached is a new debdiff with
a more accurate changelog.

Could a sponsor please take a look at this?

Thanks,

James
