Pidgin locks entire computer when recieving files

Binary package hint: pidgin

Ubuntu 8.04 amd64, Pidgin 2.4.1. Since last pidgin update, file transfers regularly lock the entire computer up - Only mouse and sounds working, ignores clicks/keyboard, unable to reboot x or do anything else.

This is pretty important since it isn't possible to disable file transfers in pidgin, anyone could send files in hope to crash the target. I suppose it doesn't happen to alot of people, but still..

I wouldn't know, I've long since stopped using Pidgin and switched to Fedora. Sorry.
