Pidgin SSL/TLS libs

I updated my Ubuntu installation from 7.10 to 8.04 through update manager. All went ok, but when i try using pidgin I can.

Try compiling the new 2.4.1 same issue, obviously has some to do with this:

Check if 'libnss3-1d'(package) is installed.

You could try running 'sudo apt-get build-dep pidgin' which will get everything needed to compile, this might fix the problem.

the local directory is not used by ubuntu that's not an ubuntu bug but an issue without your local change
