Bug Description

I am using Ati 3D Rage II+ in dualhead with nVidia GeForce4 Ti 4200 on Ubuntu Hardy. I am using nv modules for nVidia and ati modules for Ati.
When I try to hibernate with X running only on nVidia or just console, everything is working. But when I try to hibernate with X running only on Ati or in dualhead, the computer is unable to resume from hibernate.
When the hibernation is executed (by /etc/acpi/hibernate.sh) from terminal (ctrl-alt-f1) with running X, the computer resumes and is working normally until I try to switch to X, than it hangs. When hibernation is started from X, it hangs just after resume.
It hangs, but just X. I can connect through ssh, but the I can't get the screen back to working (despite that it can be switched back to console, numlock is shining/not based on which ctrl-alt-fx i choose), even not by restarting gdm and X - the X will always use 90+% and the screen remains blank. But I can start the X on nvidia, which works normally.

I tried to remove nVidia from coputer, and it is working now. So the problem is only when nVidia is pluged in (but unused).

Now I tried to connect another Ati to agp instead of nVidia, and it is even worse (and I am also not using it). The computer after resume (i hibernated also from console) hangs with blank screens, and nothing helps, even sysrq not.

I made another exploration. When I set "Init Display First" from "AGP" to "PCI Slot" in bios, the problem reverts - everything works fine with Ati, but when I try to start X on Nvidia, the computer freezes.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Please attach your X server configuration file (/etc/X11/xorg.conf) and X server log file (/var/log/Xorg.0.log) to the bug report as individual uncompressed file attachments using the "Attachment:" box below. Could you please also try to run without any /etc/X11/xorg.conf and let Xorg autodetect your display and video card? Please also attach the /var/log/Xorg.0.log from this attempt. Thanks in advance.

I don't understand what should I attach - both xorg.conf and xorg.log was attached yet and I can't try it without xorg.conf, because manual configuration is needed for dualhead (in my case).
