Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Could you please try to obtain a backtrace by following the instructions on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs, or upload (as an attachment) the crash report from /var/crash/.

Also, please answer these questions:
Is this crash reproducible? If so, which are the steps that lead to it?
Which flash package do you have installed?
Which Java package do you have installed?
Which Firefox extensions do you have installed?

This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

ok. this will be getting hard to reproduce as will only last for 3 more hours and is probably not available outside germany. but here it is for completeness. the full url is: http://sport.ard.de/euro2008/euro_live/livestreams/medienteaser-livestreams.jsp

it does not crash anytime so maybe give it a second try...

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

(Cross referencing https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vlc/+bug/212033 they are not experiencing crashes, but are experiencing issues playing video using mozilla-plugin-vlc under kubuntu. Not sure which pieces are related)

Martin - as per above, I had posted a comment for Henry and Exactt to confirm is this was still an issue (and I was just waiting back). Since I haven't heard back I will close this issue.

Henry, Exactt, if you haven't found the latest release of Ubuntu has resolved this issue, or you have current examples, can you please update the ticket and re-open it.

Thanks.

I saw that, Craig73, but I had the missgiving that your "cross referencing" could have been confusing (otherwise I would have closed it myself ;)). No offense meant.

No problem, was just more notes to myself on related issues but note again there was beta software involved. Most important is to respond to as many of the older issues as possible to ensure people are current and/or working.
