Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

After do-release-upgrade -d fails with:
> Could not calculate the upgrade
> A unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.

Thanks for reporting this bug. A warning about services left running seems reasonable. Could you please also attach the log files from /var/log/dist-upgrade so we can try to find what went wrong.
