Gossip conversation windows do not focus when clicking "Show Conversation" in a libnotify bubble

This works fine in Metacity.

Note that if a Gossip window already has focus, it's no problem.

This also happens with Pidgin (compiz in hardy): clicking on 'show' in a notification bubble or on the notification area icon causes the respective window to move to the front, but will not change to the current workspace.

Using metacity in feisty & hardy, the window moves to the current workspace and moves to front.

That sounds like a slightly different error case, though it may be
related. If a Compiz hacker could confirm this, please?

The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Karmic Koala.
