Bug Description
Resuming from suspend to RAM works about 9 times in 10 for me. However, it fails periodically: the power light will come back on, but the screen remains blank and powered off, there is no hard drive activity light, no sound of fans, and no wireless light. The laptop does not respond to any key presses (such as Fn+Esc which normally invokes suspend).
/var/log/syslog does not contain any information about the error (as would be expected, if it's not writing to the hard drive). I'll attach a sample.
This is a regression from Gutsy.

I am trying the debugging procedure at https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/DebuggingKe rnelSuspend, if I manage to get resume to fail I will report those results. As stated though, it works most of the time, and perhaps the failure has a trigger, so it may be a while.
