Bug Description

The size of the folder in xfce4 is always reported as 4.0kb. It would be far more useful if it displayed the sum of the contents inside the folder too.

On Hardy it shows a variety of sizes (from about 80B to around 1.2kB)

note: Nautilus only tells you how many items there are in the folder - for a big folder working out the size of the contents could take some time.

Thanks for your bug report. I'm fairly sure it has already been forwarded upstream, but I can't find it.

Anyway, as a workaround, right-click on the folder, click on Properties, and it'll display the size.
