Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase

with the following protocol :

sudo apt-get update
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list=>+hardy
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

hardy development branch 8.04

splash screen in gutsy would show widgets as sections loaded or opened

Thank you for filing this bug. I don't really understand what you mean by reverted to text mode. Could you provide a screenshot?
