Binary package hint: gnome-phone-manager

New upstream release (0.51) available with many new features a fixed bugs. The 0.40 version packaged in hardy doesn't work for me.

Actually.....the version of gnokii that the new version of gnome-phone-manager 0.5x depends on has some IMPORTANT bugfixes. Right now...with the version that 0.4 depends on.....I have no ability what so ever to send text messaging.

This package, along with gnokii libraries must be updated ASAP to include the fixes from gnokii and get g-p-m working correctly again

Can someone please be so kind as to create the required packages. (I tried myself but I do not have enough experience to get the new gnokii ones into a .deb)

Please assign this to the relevant package creator for gnokii/gnome-phone-manager builds as it is somewhat critical that the new version of both g-p-m and GNOKII are deployed in order to fix the bug affecting all sony ericssons

I have a Motorola V3 and I can not use this phone with gnome-phone-manager 0.4. In Gutsy I had no problems.
I have read that 0.51 fixes that bug, but I can not find any more where I have read it.

seems like it is working if the phone is not connected via bluez first
