Firefox3b5 Fails to Load First Link of RSS Feed

Binary package hint: firefox

Ubuntu8.04bi386 Firefox3b5. A few times now, the first link of every RSS feed placed in my Bookmarks Toolbar fails to load the first entry of the list (see attached image). I cannot find a way to reproduce this on demand. It stays this way until manually refreshing the feed. It does not fix itself after exiting Fx.

I am not completely certain, but it appears that sometimes it merely appends this "Live Bookmark feed failed to load." at the top of the list, and other times it replaces the first entry. Again, my eyes may have tricked me.

If I click the 'bad' entry, it pops up about:livemark-failed alert.

I have the same problem here. Ubuntu Hardy and Firefox 3 beta 5.

It looks like it is loading old feeds from the last time FF was started. When I manually refresh one that updates a lot, it is a whole new list. Usually Firefox reloads them when Firefox is started.

Maybe this is caused by some extension? Could you try (disable them
one-by-one and restart ffox)?
