Thanks for your bugreport. It looks like something in the postinst of libc6 is failing, could you please include the file /var/log/dist-upgrade/apt-term.log ?

The error is:

Hi Michael,

I went further trying to upgrade from the prompt with apt-get, dpkg en finally aptitude. This went that far through that i can't boot Kubuntu anymore and see myself forced to install from scratch again. So, sorry, can't send you the file you're requesting.
