Unable to send http:// URLs with Live accounts

Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

When I chat using my live account and when I want to send a URL to the other, I typed "http://www. bla bla bla". But wen I press enter I receive a message saying that the message couldnot send. This only happens when there is "http://". Any idea to solve ?

Thank you for reporting this problem and helping to improve Ubuntu.

It looks like this may be related to how MSN is configured; the developers of pidgin appear to be aware of this problem and can not fix it. For more information, see:
