Can you please make sure it is set to use your adobe plugin in update-alternatives.
Can you please attach the crash report found in /var/crash to this bug.

Can you please try to obtain a strace by following the instructions at:

or you can try to get backtrace by following the instructions at:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace

Would perfer a complete backtrace but not sure how good its gonna come out.
What is the package name you are using for PDFs
