firefox 3 crashed when printing

Randomly, firefox 3 crash while printing. When this happened, a work around is to "Print preview" first then print; the problem will go away.

The workaround doesn't work for me, since print preview crashes as well.

FYI, the workaround works for me. I consistently and repeatably experienced a Firefox crash when trying to print to a file (I don't have a physical printer). However, I'm pleased to find if I do a Print Preview first, then I can print to a PDF file just fine. Hooray

I'm on a stock Hardy installation with Firefox 3.0 straight from apt-get.

Could you try with a new profile as described in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs/ ? This will help us check if it is related to config/profile/extension issues.

SInce I got the final release of Firefox 3, the problem went away.
