When opening a website with flash content, and re-opening many instances of this website in other tabs or other firefox windows, the browser gets very slow and eat alot of cpu resources...

I could not confirm this my 64-bit Hardy install. But if you look around there are lots of FF3b5 posts and bug reports in regards to Flash.

I can confirm this. I have problems every day with flashpages in FF3b5. Often it consumes >100% CPU if you have a couple of tabs with flash content and sometimes (once a day) it crashes when I open a page with flash content. The crashes are not reproducible in my case, if I go to the same URL after re-starting FF it doesn't crash.

Btw, I tried opening 4 tabs with the page mentioned in the original report and I got 140-160% CPU usage.
