Compiz (or system) freeze on settings change (Hardy Heron)

Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

When I activate an effect/setting Comiz freeze and I have to press the close button [X] and then restart Compiz.
Sometimes the whole system freeze annd I have to press the power button on my computer.
